The Volkswagen Golf GTI that brings special edition performance and previously optional equipment into one standard package can be ordered now.
In showrooms from October, the MY19 Golf GTI comes with the output and drivetrain of last year's limited run three-door Golf GTI Performance Edition 1.
This includes the same 180kW/370Nm tune of the 2.0-litre turbo petrol four, 7-speed wet-clutch DSG, electro-mechanical front differential lock and the ventilated front and rear disc brake package from the Golf R.
The MY19 Golf GTI also receives as standard the much in demand Active Info dashboard readout in addition to the Driver Assistance Pack, which includes the safety features listed below.
While a three door GTI is still to be had in GTI Original form while stock lasts, the MY19 GTI has five doors and is no longer offered as a manual. Stocks of manual three and five door 169kW GTIs remain at drive away pricing.
