The newest vehicle in Subaru's international line-up, the B9, will make its Australian debut at the Melbourne International Motor Show from March 3 - 14.
The new generation crossover vehicle offers an amazing array of cabin configurations, including seven seats.
Subaru Australia will be using the show to gauge possible local interest in the largest vehicle yet made by the company.
There are no immediate plans for the left-hand drive B9 to be exported outside the Americas.
However, if a right-hand drive version were to emerge, Subaru Australia would consider the possibility of expanding its existing local line-up of Forester, Impreza, Liberty and Outback.
The B9 showcases Subaru's new design direction and draws on the company's aerospace heritage, with its front grille using the theme of an aircraft fuselage and wings.
Full details of the B9 will be available at the Melbourne International Motor Show.
