PEUGEOT Australia has today opened pre-orders for the highly anticipated PEUGEOT 308 range. Customers are now invited to reserve their 308 online or with their local PEUGEOT retailer ahead of the Australian launch confirmed for later this quarter.
Starting from $43,990 MLP*, the Australian PEUGEOT 308 range will consist of four variants: 308 GT Hatch, 308 GT Premium Hatch, 308 GT Premium Wagon and the 308 GT Sport Hatch Plug-In Hybrid. The 308 GT Hatch, 308 GT Premium Hatch and 308 GT Premium Wagon will arrive in quarter four, 2022 and go on pre-sale today. The local arrival of the 308 GT Sport Hatch Plug-In Hybrid will follow in H1, 2023 with customers able to register their interest for the electrified variant.
PEUGEOT 308 is a truly distinct offering with a striking new design that optimises interior space while asserting the car's dynamism and identity.
It is also the first car in PEUGEOT'S broad range to bear the company's new coat of arms which is mounted proudly in the centre of the grille. Positioned to highlight a grille pattern converging towards it, it also announces the car's arrival.
New PEUGEOT 308 also introduces the latest PEUGEOT i-Cockpit™ with an advanced infotainment system that is intuitive, connected and resolutely modern.
Efficiency and high performance down to the smallest aerodynamic detail are key elements of the new PEUGEOT 308 which gives Australian buyers a choice between internal combustion and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
Ahead of the arrival of the new PEUGEOT 308 to the Australian market, PEUGEOT Australia Managing Director, Kate Gillis, commented: "It is with great excitement that we can today open pre-orders for the 308. Our latest arrival brings a dynamic and stylish design, with the local model range carefully selected to provide consumers with a strong line-up."
"We are confident that the new PEUGEOT 308 has a distinct offering for the local market that will appeal across multiple premium segments due to the different body styles on offer as well as the compelling choice of powertrains, both internal combustion and electrified."
"Looking forward to 2023, we are particularly excited that the PEUGEOT 308 GT Sport Hatch Plug-In Hybrid will allow us to continue our electrification journey and enter into the electrified small car segment for the first time in Australia."
