Sydney, Australia, 15 November 2024 – The all-new MG ZS HYBRID+ introduces a new line
in the MG range:
MG’s best-selling Compact SUV just got better! Now with a full-Hybrid powertrain, it joins
MG’s HYBRID+ family alongside the recently released MG3 HYBRID+.
With the launch of all-new compact SUV within their vehicle line up, MG has shaken up
traditional market codes with one of the largest battery in the compact SUV HEV segment,
a 1.83kWh NCM battery. The all-new MG ZS HYBRID+ boasts a distinctive and striking
design that combines elegance and robustness. With a very strong personality, it offers a
reassuringly high ride height and uncompromising roominess and trunk space.
MG Motor Australia and New Zealand CEO Peter Ciao said the all-new MG ZS HYBRID+
promises more emotion and quality while benefiting from the highly efficient hybrid engine.

Available in two variants, the ZS HYBRID+ Excite is priced from $33,990 (DAP/MSRP)
and the ZS HYBRID+ Essence is priced from $36,990 (DAP/MSRP).
The ZS HYBRID+ integrates a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with a dynamic
100kW/250Nm electric motor, paired with a 1.83kWh NMC battery and a three-speed optimised
hybrid automatic transmission. The ZS HYBRID+ powertrain produces 158kW of maximum combined
power and delivers an efficient combined average fuel consumption of 4.7L/100km.
With 8 dynamic propulsion modes, the Intelligent ECU seamlessly adapts to the current driving
conditions in real time, delivering an impressive balance of efficiency with power for every driving moment.
From the comprehensive array of advanced driver assistance systems, the new ZS HYBRID+
also features the renowned PILOT Safety Suite including Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep
Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Assist, Intelligent Cruise Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert,
Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Detection, and Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, all designed to
