With shipments of GWM's brand-new Ora EV now coming into the country in good volumes, the company has made three key decisions that will strengthen appeal for new car buyers and solidify Ora's position as being one of Australia's best-value EVs.
- Pricing decrease: The costs of battery technology (the largest single contributing component in EV cost) has fallen recently due to lower raw material prices. This, along with other factors, has enabled GWM to reduce prices on the entire GWM Ora range commencing at the start of July. The Ora range now starts from just $39,990 plus On-Road Costs.

2 New Ultra Grade: In response to strong initial customer demand and positive dealer feedback, GWM will add a new Ultra grade to the Ora lineup.
Sitting between the GWM Ora Extended Range and the GT, the new Ora Ultra offers buyers additional comfort and convenience features (over the Ora Extended Range) including:
- Electric hands-free tailgate
- Panoramic sunroof
- Heated steering wheel
- 6-way electric driver's seat with memory
- Front seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions
- Power adjustable, electric auto-folding mirrors with memory function
The Ora Ultra adopts the same 63kWH ternary lithium battery pack for a 420km range. All other features reflect those on the Ora Extended Range.

3 Free GWM Charging Station offer:
Commencing at the start of July, GWM will offer buyers of Ora Extended Range, Ora Ultra and Ora GT a free wall mounted GWM Charging Station as an added incentive to become one of the early owners of GWM's first fully electric vehicle.
Under normal retail conditions, the GWM Charging Station would be sold for $1690.
This launch offer will be extended to customers who have already placed an order for a GWM Ora and is available to buyers who take delivery before the September 30th cut-off date (or while charger stocks last).
Able to be connected to single-phase power, the GWM Charging Station is configured to connect with the new GWM Ora and all Type-2 equipped EVs.
Also featuring RFID authentication, use of the GWM Charging Station offers secure access for nominated users. Elegantly designed and simple to use, the GWM Charging Station can be easily installed in homes and office spaces to provide charging in a variety of convenient locations.
Installation of the GWM Charging Station is not included in the offer and customers should look to arrange installation through a GWM-preferred installer or their own provider.
Like all GWM products, the new GWM Ora is backed by a 7-year / unlimited km warranty, 5-years roadside assistance and 5-years Capped Price Servicing.
