GWM is today proud to announce the addition of the GWM App and GWM Care 777, which will debut on its upcoming flagship SUV, the 7-seater Tank 500 Hybrid.
As two significant additions to an already highly competitive package, this provides Australian new car buyers with another reason to consider the Tank off-road range. The GWM App is designed to seamlessly integrate with the Tank 500 Hybrid, offering an elevated level of convenience and control to our customers.

The GWM App introduces a suite of features designed to enhance the driving and ownership experience, with the promise of more advancements to come.
At launch, users will enjoy the ability to:
- Lock/Unlock their vehicle remotely
- Turn on the AC and activate heated / cooled seats before entering the car
- Use Flash Lights/Horn for easy location of vehicle
- Set up an E-Fence to monitor their vehicle's movement
- Open/close windows and sunroof
- Check their Vehicle Status including current fuel level
A host of other features are also being developed for future integration into the GWM App.
GWM Care 777
Over the recent period, GWM has been fortunate enough to add new, innovative products such as Tank 300 to the local lineup. Tank 500 (and others) will follow shortly.
While recognizing that the evolution of the GWM brand and products is ongoing and with still plenty more to come, it's equally important to recognize the acceptance by Australian customers of these new models, offering more features and at higher price brackets.
Tank 300 sales have averaged over 450 per month over the last five months (in line with when normal supply resumed) while Tank 500, with over 1700 active leads captured since it was announced, has gathered more pre-launch interest than any other new GWM model thus far.
This provides a level of validation, demonstrating that GWM's new model strategy, including the launch of larger, more advanced and higher-priced vehicles is resonating with Australian new car buyers.
As part of the strategy to support new, higher-priced GWM models, GWM Care 777 – 7-year unlimited km warranty, 7-year roadside assist and 7-year Capped Price Servicing will be introduced on Tank 500 and added to Tank 300 (petrol and hybrid) with all previously sold Tank 300s to have this retrospectively applied.
The addition of GWM Care 777 will provide further assurance for potential new GWM buyers and strengthen the brand's competitive market position in relation to maintenance cost. It is expected that this initiative will also help drive GWM residual values and repurchase opportunities for the brand while continuing to drive further interest in the GWM range of hybrid vehicles.
There is no change to the current GWM Care aftersales package on other models which will continue to be supported by a 7-year unlimited km warranty, 5-year roadside assist and 5 years Capped Price Servicing.
