Bridgestone Partners with Forza Motorsport to present "Bridgestone Rivals: Race to the Top" Gaming Event

Bridgestone and Forza Motorsport are partnering to launch the first-ever "Bridgestone Rivals: Race to the Top" virtual gaming competition.
Competition provides Australian and New Zealand participants with chance to win prizes up to US$1,000 by racing a Lamborghini Huracán STO around the “Hakone Grand Prix Circuit”.
Bridgestone aims to bring the excitement of motorsport to a wider audience through the accessibility of virtual racing.

ADELAIDE/AUCKLAND (12 June, 2024) — Bridgestone and Forza Motorsport are partnering to launch the first-ever “Bridgestone Rivals: Race to the Top'' virtual gaming competition where participants will race the iconic Lamborghini Huracán STO on the game’s virtually created “Hakone Grand Prix Circuit”. The collaboration with Forza Motorsport, simulation racing video games globally, is the first of its kind, with Bridgestone becoming the first tyre manufacturer to partner in this latest instalment of the racing sim series.

As part of a competition spanning Bridgestone Asia Pacific, India, China (BSAPIC), a group company of Bridgestone Corporation, and running from 20 June to 11 July 2024^, eligible racers can compete in the “Bridgestone Rivals: Race to the Top” event to unlock an exclusive in-game Bridgestone Racing Suit and set their fastest time to stand a chance to win attractive prizes worth up to USD$1,000. Within the game, racers will be taking on the virtual Hakone Grand Prix, a simulated motorsports mecca built to host every level of racing with a spectacular view of Mount Fuji. Surrounded by the sublime beauty of the Japanese countryside on the shores of Lake Ashi, the circuit is a futuristic showcase for flat-out speed with long straights, wide turns, and a few heavy braking zones. The final Australian and New Zealand winners will be announced based on the fastest lap time recorded from the respective country, along with winners from each participating market in throughout the Asia Pacific region.
