- New Audi Terminal to be opened in late 2018
Macarthur, Sydney, 4 April 2017– Audi Australia will open its newest Terminal facility in the rapidly growing Macarthur region of Sydney in 2018, following the appointment of the Alto Group as the successful dealer in the PMA.
With 40 dealerships now open in Australia, this latest facility will be the 41st Audi dealership and will be located at the corner of Anderson Road and Camden Valley Way in Smeaton Grange, near Narellan.
The addition of a dealership in the Macarthur PMA is part of Audi Australia's long term network strategy to ensure the brand is represented across the nation, in light of the impressive new product range being rolled out in the coming years.
This new facility will support Audi's growing customer base with a seamless sales and aftersales experience.
The greenfield site, purchased by the Alto Group is 18,000 square metres and current planning is for a 20 bay service workshop, full paint and panel facility plus 2 ovens, large display for up to 100 approved used vehicles and a new car showroom with space for up to 20 vehicles. The dealership will also offer a community facility for use by local sporting, business and charity groups.
Anthony Altomonte, Director of the Alto Group, said the company is excited to be developing a brand new facility in such a rapidly growing area of the state.
"The Alto Group currently owns three successful Audi facilities in Sydney and this fourth location will provide even more opportunities for our business and for the local community, including around 60 new jobs. At around $18 million, it's a large investment, however we are confident the south western corridor of Sydney has great potential for the brand," Mr Altomonte said.
Following the final approval of plans, construction is expected to commence around November 2017, and is due for completion one year later.
The Alto Group currently owns Audi facilities in Artarmon, on the Central Coast and in Pennant Hills.
