- Audi Hamilton Island Race Week set to host studded pannel to support women in fim in TV
- Asher Keddie, Sarah Snook, Bruna Papandrea and Imogen Banks named as panalists

Sydney, August 15, 2016 – As strong supporters of pioneering women in a range of creative industries, Audi is gearing up to host an in depth conversation Audi will host a panel discussion to help cast a spotlight on gender imbalance in the film and TV industry.
Set to take place on the opening weekend of Audi Hamilton Island Race Week, the German luxury automobile brand will facilitate the first of an In Conversation series tackling women's issues, featuring a star studded panel made up of local and international talent.
Leading the conversation will be Audi Ambassador and former Gold Logie winning actress Asher Keddie, along with her Offspring director Imogen Banks. Adelaide born actress, Sarah Snook, known for her standout roles in The Dressmaker and The Beautiful Lie has also confirmed her attendance, along with the LA based producer Bruna Papandrea, who has been widely celebrated for producing of Hollywood blockbusters - Gone Girl and Wild alongside business partner Reese Witherspoon.
Through initiatives like the Audi InStyle Women of Style Awards, Audi is a strong advocate of supporting and recogising issues effecting women.

Globally, Audi Film is a sponsorship arm that supports a range of film festivals, local and international actors, producers and directors. The Audi brand also plays a starting role in movies like Iron Man, Captain America, Transporter and the Avengers.

Alarming gender imbalance statistics reveal that women play only minor roles in the Australian film industry with producers making up on 32 per cent of the industry, writers 21 percent and directors a measly 16 per cent. (Gender Matters)
Last month, Screen Australia launched a $5m initiative Gender Matters to tackle the issue, to be rolled out over three years, the industry, including its stars aims to address the gender imbalance within the Australian screen industry.
