Customers who wish to go road racing never had it so easy with the announcement that Yamaha Racing Team (YRT) is offering the most competitive superstock machines in the paddock for sale direct to the public.

Rick Olson piloted a YRT YZF-R6 to the FX600 title this season and Kevin Curtain wasn't far behind him on an identical spec machine. Now's your chance to ride the most dominant model in the superstock class.

Rick Olson on his way to FX600 victory. Now you can get a bike like his hassle free and at an attractive low price YRT can offer the complete package at a very reasonable cost, all you need to do is turn up and ride. For just $23,500 racers can take ownership of a fully kitted FX600 spec machine ($23,000 for ASBK Superstock spec). This includes the cost of a new unit, all the labour charges associated with preparing it to full superstock spec and also includes all the road going parts so you can return the unit to standard when you wish.

Customers will need to advise their riding details and weight etc and YRT will set the suspension of the bike up according to their initial needs.

Here's what you get for your money: 1 x brand new YZF-R6 with the following race parts fitted: braided steel front brake line set; fairing set with screen, YRT replica paint/graphics, GYTR slip-on muffler, GYTR air filter, end case protector set, suspension mods, crash knob set, an optimum range of 520 sprockets front and rear, DID 520 racing chain, rear stand lugs, chain guard, lap timer, Dunlop control tyre set, tyre warmer set, synthetic engine oil, radiator guard, front stand, rear stand, steering damper kit, Power Commander (only for FX600 spec). Plus all assembly labour costs are covered including drilling and lock wiring of items required by FX and ASBK rules.

Each bike will be run on YRT's dyno and an individual dyno sheet will be supplied. For FX600 the Power Commander will be mapped during the dyno runs.

As you can see, this is a real turn-key package with all the parts you will need to front the start line. All you need to do is place a $5000 deposit and
YRT do the rest. The finished race bike will be available to collect from YRT workshop in Brisbane, QLD in around six to eight weeks from placement of deposit.

It really is that simple. And when you consider that the YZF-R6 retails for $16,299, the cost price for becoming the next Rick Olson or Kevin Curtain is clearly within reach. The rest is up to you...
