Yamaha's record in Enduro1 is truly outstanding, with team riders Stéphane Peterhansel, Peter Bergvall and Stefan Merriman taking our WR250F to four WEC World Championships in succession between 2001 and 2004.

Our class-leading performance in Enduro1 looks like being repeated in Enduro2 for 2006 with Yamaha UFO Corse riders Johnny Aubert and Stefan Merriman. So far this season both Yamaha team riders have both shown winning form, and in doing so have underlined the WR450F's true world-class performance.

As well as winning World Championships for Yamaha, Stefan Everts and Stefan Merriman have reinforced Yamaha's position as the serious contender in world enduro by taking overall victory in the ultimate test of speed and endurance, the ISDE.

Yamaha's position as one of the leading manufacturers in all levels of enduro is the result of a total commitment to the sport. We were the first manufacturer to develop the new wave of lightweight, free-revving 4-stroke enduro models, and for 2007 we are just about to take enduro machine design to another level with the new generation WR450F and WR250F.

2007 YAMAHA ENDURO MODELS

Featuring the most advanced cutting-edge engine and chassis technology ever seen on a Yamaha enduro machine, our all-new 2007 models offer today's enduro rider a very real advantage at every level.

Both the WR450F and WR250F run with a new lightweight aluminium semi-double cradle frame and are driven by new high performance engines that deliver increased levels of useable power - and these advanced high-tech packages are completed by totally new ergonomic bodywork.

With these completely redesigned enduro models, Yamaha believe that we now offer the most complete and most advanced 4-stroke enduro bikes in their respective classes.
