Cruising is one of the most satisfying forms of motorcycling and
appeals to large numbers of riders, many of whom are new to two
wheels. These customers live to cruise, but on a compact and easy
to manage scale. For this popular market segment, Yamaha offers the
V-twin XVS250, Yamaha's little big bike.
The learner legal XVS250 is the smallest of the V-Star range,
but features the full cruising experience from front to rear. Lean,
mean and low-slung, the V-Star 250 has all the boulevard bad boy
attitude of its larger brethren, including lashings of chrome and
rich paintwork, plush comfortable upholstery for both rider and
passenger and stylish deep-valanced fenders.
The retro-look twin shock rear and plush front suspension are
designed to keep things relaxed and comfortable, plus with low
weight and strong front brake, handling is sure and confidence
inspiring. The 249cc SOHC, 4-stroke, air-cooled, V-twin, sips fuel
at a miserly rate fed by a single 26mm Mikuni carb, yet will
surprise you with its gutsy response away from traffic lights, and
produces a surprising amount of torque.
XVS250 owners will be delighted to access a large range of
genuine accessories that can transform the V-twin into a bike as
individual as they are. Both bike and accessories are available via
a convenient Yamaha Motor Finance loan.
Now for 2008, two hot new colours are available, Midnight Black
and Cappuccino. XVS250: Good things really do come in small
packages...
