"It's been a great race," says the great man. It certainly has. Rossi's first outing on the YZR-M1 at the South African Grand Prix in Welkom in 2004 started a six year love affair with Yamaha that is celebrated in a limited edition coffee table book.

They say a picture tells a thousand words, and the image of Rossi kissing his Yamaha after defying the critics by winning that first race is an image that burns in the memory.

It's pictures like these along with many others that make this book a must have item for Rossi fans - or anyone who appreciates the drama of sport at the highest level of competition. However, the book is not for sale to the public.
