Kumho, one of the world's fastest growing and technologically advanced tyre makers, is seeking to form marketing and technical alliances with some of Australia's key transport fleets to accelerate the development of heavy truck tyres and to promote both the Kumho brand and the operators' company.
Kumho manufactures a full range of steer, drive and trailer tyres to suit a wide range of applications including off-road, mixed surface and on-road conditions and is already widely used and accepted by Australian operators.
According to Kumho Tyres Australia national marketing manager David Basha, the company is keen to grow its business in the heavy vehicle market and wants to link up with major fleets to discuss promotional and marketing opportunities in return for favourable pricing and added technical input.
"Our aim is to make Australian truck operators realise Kumho is a leader in truck and bus tyres providing highly efficient, long lasting and cost effective tyre solutions for heavy vehicles," said David Basha.
"We want to open dialogue with truck and bus operators because we are confident Kumho tyres will give them an operating edge and we believe they will become strong advocates for the brand once they have used them," he said.
"This is a really unique marketing opportunity and will deliver a number of advantages to heavy vehicle operators keen to be a part of our Signature Account program," he added.
"Kumho already has already established an Australia wide Select Dealer Network of 75 tyre dealers all of whom are particularly focussed on heavy vehicle tyres to cater for transport operators and their unique needs," said David Basha.
