What's more, it's powered by one of the all-time great power plants and for 2011 the revered 1050cc triple, which packs 7% more torque than its predecessor.

Engine - Frame - Suspension

Engine: Performance is modestly increased, but remains perfectly suited to the bike with strong mid-range power.

Frame: The new frame is beautifully styled, retaining the family resemblance to the old Speed Triple, with the characteristic Triumph twin-tube over-engine design, but much more modern.

Suspension: Completely revised suspension, geometry and weight distribution means the new Speed Triple chassis is a significant improvement over the old, with much improved agility, handling and cornering ability.
