Shannons Sydney will move into a newly fitted out on and significantly larger stand-alone auction showroom and insurance headquarters in the high profile Lower North Shore on November 2.

The relocation to Shannons new Artarmon home comes after 19 years at its existing, nearby St. Leonards showroom. It offers much better access and improved facilities for its insurance and classic vehicle auction customers.

The new building at 22 Lambs Road, is three times the size of the current facility and can accommodate more than 50 vehicles.

With easy access off the M1 Freeway, it consists of a nicely finished showroom incorporating the latest audio-visual technology to host live auctions, a clubroom design for free car club usage and a brand gallery / café area that is expected to become a new meeting hub for Sydney motoring enthusiasts.

The new Artarmon building also incorporates larger offices to accommodate Shannons' growing number of auction specialists there to further improve customer service.

Announcing the move Shannons National Sales Manager Paul Gates said the new facility would set a benchmark for the Australian classic vehicle market when it opens formally on Monday, November 2.

"This move has been a long time coming," he said. "Whether you are an insurance, or an auction customer, this new facility is a gamechanger for our New South Wales enthusiasts," he said. "We believe it will soon become Sydney's new classic vehicle hub.

"Shannons supports more than 1,200 motoring events around Australia each year and makes a real difference to many people's lives through its support of Clubs and groups.

It has also continued its support of Australian motorsport and have formed many great partnerships in the process, with the Shannons Club having grown in a short time to welcome more than 100,000 online members, with 120,000 unique visitors every month.

"Our auction business has grown considerably in the past five years and despite the limitations imposed during these COVID-19 times, the switch to Online Timed Auctions has been a great success in supporting enthusiasts around Australia," said National Auctions and External Relations Manager, Christophe Boribon.

The upcoming Shannons Spring Timed Online Classic Auction will be held from November 11-18, with all the Sydney Lots on display at the new showroom facility from Monday November 2.
