"This year will be our fourth year in a row" said a confident Cody Crocker last weekend as the Polaris Racing Team conducted its final testing of the new Polaris RZR XP 1000 before this weekend's first round of the ARC SxS Challenge in Canberra.

The Polaris Racing Team of rally legend Cody Crocker and his esteemed Co-Driver Greg Foletta remain undefeated in the ARC SxS Challenge having won each year since the challenges inception in 2012.

In 2014, Crocker and Foletta placed first in a total of 51 out of 59 stages across four Rally's totaling 718.15 competitive kilometers with the Polaris Tamworth team of Iain Hughes and David Piper winning 7 stages. A ground-breaking highlight for the Polaris teams at Rally SA, NSW and VIC was posting times faster than the ARC cars in each Rally's respective Super Special Stage with one time being a massive 10 seconds faster! The Polaris teams threw out the Rally rule book and stamped their place in Australian motorsport record books showing the Rally community that the SxS class means business.

"Last year's RZR XP 1000 performed smooth and strong, it was a pleasure to drive; this year we have a new RZR which has more horsepower and adds a few new features including increased air flow to the belt to keep it cooler. Shakedown testing went well and the RZR is feeling quick and grippy and I can't wait to put it to the test on the Canberra stages this weekend" said Cody Crocker.

"Last year the RZR XP 1000 did everything it was meant to do well and reliably but it also did something that no one expected and that was to beat the best Rally Cars in the game! It's a pleasure to drive the Polaris RZR product. Who would have thought that at three Rally's in a row a $40,000 RZR would beat the $200,000 ARC cars…incredible! This year I am looking forward to breaking more records" continued Crocker.

The ARC SxS Challenge was designed in partnership between the ARC, Polaris and Can-Am to avoid "cheque book" racing, anyone can enter the SxS class of the ARC with a Polaris RZR and all they need to add is the required CAMS safety cage and equipment. This puts everyone on a level playing field and makes motorsport very accessible with low costs involved compared to that of a properly set up Rally Car. Last year's season showed that not only is SxS racing cheaper but racers can outperform the best ARC cars.

"Rallying for us is not just about winning in the SxS class, we want to dominate overall! Other classes and drivers better watch their backs, Polaris are coming!" chipped in Greg Foletta, to well and truly throw down the gauntlet.

The ARC side x side Challenge is designed to avoid "cheque book" racing, anyone can enter the side x side class of the ARC with a Polaris RZR and all they need to add is the required CAMS safety cage and equipment. This puts everyone on a level playing field and makes motorsport very accessible with low costs involved compared to that of a properly set up Rally Car.
