Honda has announced that it is upgrading one of its most popular
ATVs, with the exciting new model due to hit showroom floors this
August.
The manufacturer's workhorse range has earned a sterling
reputation for going the distance and the new TRX500FA7 is set to
be no exception.
Set apart as the only Honda ATV available in sleek white paint
and now featuring aluminium wheels, the 2016 TRX is the ultimate
off-road partner.
With a strong 475cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine, versatile
chassis, independent rear suspension and a price of $13,999, the
new ATV ticks all the boxes.
The TRX's 500-class engine is specially tuned for the perfect
balance of torque and power, and thanks to the addition of Honda's
Programmed Fuel Injection system the ATV's throttle response is as
smooth as it is broad.
The extensively-developed double-cradle steel frame chassis
offers a great ride, while electric power steering boosts the
motorcycle's responsive handling.
The TRX500FA7's independent rear suspension (IRS) has been
finely tuned to get the most out of the ATV, aided by the
adjustable spring preload feature on all shocks which allows the
suspension to be easily tuned to match loads and riding
conditions.
The new TRX also boasts Honda's innovative automatic Dual Clutch
Transmission (DCT). With the best of both worlds fully covered, the
DCT provides the strength of a manual transmission with the
convenience of an automatic transmission, while still giving the
rider the option of push-button manual control via Honda's Electric
Shift Program.
Honda's automatic DCT features an advanced dual shift-mapping
program that automatically selects between two transmission
shifting modes depending on how the rider uses the throttle.
The TRX500FA7 is set to raise the bar in the ATV market with
bold styling and state-of-the-art design features that have been
specially designed to make the tough jobs easier.
