As part of the Honda Goldwing 40th Anniversary range, Honda has announced it is releasing some of its newest Goldwing family models in limited anniversary editions.

Introduced to the Goldwing family last year, the Valkyrie inherited the model's outstanding reputation for a unique two-wheel experience.

The new, special-edition Honda Valkyrie is set to hit Aussie shores late March with new features and a special 40th Anniversary touch.

The Valkyrie continues the trend for the Goldwing family, which has set the golden standard in the motorcycle industry for four decades.

With ultra-smooth torque and abundant power, the 2015 Valkyrie aims to raise the bar even higher with a Manufacturer's List Price of $20,199\*.

The new model retains the fuel-injected, horizontally opposed six-cylinder 1832cc engine that has given the Goldwing its legendary status. Both exceptionally smooth and incredibly powerful, the "flat" six-cylinder design offers a lower centre of gravity for an improved ride and a lighter handling feel.

Underneath is a twin-spar aluminium frame which holds the engine as a stressed member, improving its already outstanding levels of rigidity, while the design's low weight and optimised weight distribution make it a joy to ride at any speed.

The Valkyrie also utilises Honda's Duel Combined ABS system, delivering balanced braking between a pair of 310mm discs and four-piston callipers at the front, and a ventilated 316mm disc and three-piston calliper at the rear.

The 2015 Valkyrie's performance potential is fully matched in the styling department, with a chiselled and aggressive look.

Available in Graphite Black and Candy Prominence Red, the famed cruiser will also come with a special 40th Anniversary key.
