30 January 2009 - Closely based on the high-flying
big-bore CRF450R, the enduro winning CRF450X has been claiming
victories in such off-road arenas as the Baja and WORCS series
races in America since it first appeared on trails across the
world.
On home soil, the CRF450X took out the 2007 and 2008 Australian
Safaris with its dynamic power, slim form and rugged, long-travel
suspension for light, neutral handling and performance.
Augmented by the Honda Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD), which
eases control and smoothes handling in cornering and rugged
terrain, and with the effortless ease of its push-button electric
starting, the CRF450X gives you the most satisfying blast of
high-powered off-road riding fun you can imagine.
The 2009 CRF450X features a new rear white fender and reinforced
rear fender extension, new front shroud decals and a new engine
stop that is incorporated into the blinker and headlight switch
block.
Weighing in at just 122kg and holding 7.2 litres of fuel, the
CRF450X is the perfect enduro competition bike.
The new CRF450X9 is available at Honda Dealerships nationwide
and retails for the highly attractive price of
$12,990 (plus on roads).
