Great Wall Motor (GWM), China's largest SUV and pickup manufacturer posted its 2018 revenue at $AUD 20.8B, and net profit $AUD 1.1B which is a 4% YoY increase.

In 2018, global sales exceeded 1 million units for the third consecutive year, with exports growing 20% YOY. HAVAL contributed 766,100 units and has now more than 5 million owners worldwide.
GWM sold 138,000 utes resulting in a dominant 30.8% share of the Chinese Ute segment and 2018 was the 21st consecutive year of market leadership.
GWM released its 'Six Star" product strategy where 6 philosophies form their future product DNA - Safety, Lifestyles, Connectivity, Electrification, Customisation and Intelligence. GWM states this "six star" strategy is embodied in the next generation ute (including the 500km EV Ute) to be unveiled at the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show (16-25 April).
WEY, the luxury SUV brand sold 139,500 vehicles in 2018 and GWM launched their exciting new EV brand ORA. Both brands are being carefully evaluated for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Closer to home, HAVAL posted a 65% YOY growth in ANZ sales welcoming 2,238 new owners.
