It was a sensational return to form for Glenn Allerton of Dynotech Pirelli BMW at Round 3 of the Australasian Superbike Championship at Queensland Raceway.

With two emphatic victories and a third step on the podium, the former Australian Superbike Champion was back to his best on the BMW HP4.

Allerton dominated practise and qualifying, determined to return to the top in Australia's premier class. The BMW HP4 was set up perfectly to give Allerton the edge in performance over his rivals. Pole position and fastest race lap is a testament to his ability and the speed of the BMW HP4.

"It was good to get back and not only win and get on the podium but also be able to set very competitive times across the weekend," said a very happy Allerton.

"It was a great result for Allerton and the Dynotech Pirelli BMW Team, who have been working tirelessly to get the results we had this weekend and we are now looking forward to building on this result," said Wayne Hepburn, co-team principal.

In the Formula OZ class, teammate Ben Nicolson enjoyed a successful weekend aboard his BMW HP4, grabbing pole position, two race wins and a podium finish. Nicolson finished in second position for the round.
