Zetland, 30 May 2022 – After another challenging year due to the Coronavirus pandemic and global supply chain difficulties, Audi Australia has acknowledged the outstanding efforts of its National Dealer Network at the 2021 Dealer of the Year Awards. Hosted by Audi Ambassador, Richard Roxburgh, the in-person event was held at the Howard Smith Wharves on the Brisbane River.

The 15 th annual Audi Dealer of the Year Awards finally returned to its highly-anticipated, black-tie event. After a tumultuous year of lockdowns and pandemic precautions, Audi Australia was delighted to recognize the outstanding achievements of dealers around the country in the face of numerous challenges that the pandemic presented to the dealer network. “The recognition that comes with the Audi Dealer of the Year Award is achieved through truly exemplary performance. Collectively, we applaud these winners for demonstrating the very best of Audi to our owners, in sales, service and all areas that this award encapsulates,” said Paul Sansom, Audi Director and Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Australia.

Audi Centre Sydney continued to hold its winning streak for the fourth year running as winner of the Major Metropolitan category. Audi Centre Mosman claimed first place in the Metropolitan category, Audi Alto Macarthur claimed first place for the newly created ‘Provincial’ category while Audi Centre Townsville received first in the Rural category.

In addition to the overall Audi Dealer of the Year categories, the evening celebrated the Audi Foundation award, which recognises engagement with the Audi Foundation’s charity partners, inspiring a real sense of philanthropy within Australian communities. This year, the award went to two equally deserving winners: Audi Centre Brisbane & Audi Centre Perth. This year’s awards were presented by Clare Reaney from the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.

1st Place – Audi Foundation Award Audi Centre Brisbane & Audi Centre Perth In other recent news, Audi Australia recently held the national Twin Cup Final. The Audi Twin Cup is an internal championship where participants compete to demonstrate their customer service skills, parts knowledge and technical expertise in hypothetical scenarios. The national final for the 2021/2022 Audi Twin Cup took place on the 17 and 19 of May in Sydney. Nineteen finalists in Service, Technology and Parts put forward their very best attempt to progress to the international Finals in Munich, Germany from 16 to 22 July.

The Australian Team heading to Germany will consist of participants from Dealers across the country including Audi Centre Mosman, Canberra, Parramatta, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, as well as Audi Penfold Burwood.

Team Australia has placed 3 rd overall before in the 2019 Audi Twin Cup International Final, and so we wish this year’s competitors the very best of luck,” said Jerome Figuiere, Aftersales Director at Audi Australia.
