Zetland, January 21st, 2022 – Audi Australia is announcing that Nick Reid has been appointed to the role of General Manager, Marketing. In this capacity, Reid will lead the Marketing Communications, Customer Marketing, Digital and Product Planning functions.

Reid has led the marketing and product planning functions at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in various roles since 2013, when he joined from Kia. Previously, Reid held product planning roles at Honda and Peugeot.
During his time with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Reid's team delivered multiple award-winning 360-degree marketing campaigns, including 'Walkinshaw Station' (2021), 'Parked' (2019) and 'Too Powerful for You' (2018).
Reid led the partnership with Melbourne-based Walkinshaw Automotive to produce premium, enhanced vehicles for the Australian market, such as the Amarok W-Series high-performance utility. So successful has been the partnership, that since April 2021, over 1000 W-Series vehicles have been delivered to Australian customers.
Reid also shaped the development of the Volkswagen California lifestyle brand, which caters for adventure seekers and lovers of the great outdoors, with a range of versatile and appealing vans.
Reid will transition to Audi in the coming weeks. Paul Sansom has been leading the marketing function since July 2021.
