- Five-year, unlimited kilometre warranty for new Audi vehicles
- Sansom: "We are pleased to provide this valuable peace-of-mind for our customers"
- Permanent introduction is effective from January 1, 2022
Zetland, January 10, 2022 – Audi Australia is heralding the new year with the permanent introduction of a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty for all new Audi vehicles delivered from 2022.
All new Audi vehicles delivered to private Australian customers since January 1, 2021 have already benefitted from a five-year warranty as part of an attractive retail offer. The popularity of this additional peace-of-mind for Audi owners has now led to its permanent introduction.
"We've listened to our customers and are proud to make our five-year warranty a permanent feature of the Audi ownership experience," said Paul Sansom, Director of Audi Australia.
"There are many aspects of Audi ownership that delight our customers, but we understand that the reassurance of a five-year warranty is very highly regarded. We are pleased to provide this valuable peace-of-mind for our customers," said Mr Sansom.
The new warranty applies to all new Audi vehicles delivered from 2022, including all S, RS and e-tron variants.
In addition to the new five-year warranty, Audi provides 12 years manufacturer warranty for bodywork against corrosion perforation for new vehicles.
Audi Australia already makes comprehensive five-year service plans available for customers to purchase across the entire new vehicle range, providing further surety when it comes to vehicle running costs. Servicing takes place every 12 months, or 15,000km, whichever comes sooner, according to the Audi Australia servicing schedule.
Audi Experience customer membership and Audi Roadside Assist are included for all in-warranty customers, and can both be re-activated for another 12 months following each scheduled service performed at an Audi dealership Service Centre.
The new Audi Australia warranty program replaces the former three-year, unlimited kilometre warranty.
