- ŠKODA SCORES 97.5 PER CENT IN ANNUAL ROYAL MORGAN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION RESEARCH
- ŠKODA WELL ABOVE THE INDUSTRY AVERAGE OF 92.4 PER CENT
SYDNEY, 4th July– ŠKODA Australia has topped the latest Roy Morgan customer satisfaction survey, with ŠKODA customers maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction in the entire automotive industry with a 97.5 per cent rating.
These findings come from the Roy Morgan Single Source survey of over 50,000 consumers, conducted in the 12 months ended April 2018. The research included in-depth personal interviews with over 40,000 car drivers, and reflects customers' sentiment towards their new vehicle.
Overall, ŠKODA sits well above industry average with total satisfaction towards new car manufacturers at 92.6%, up from 92.4% in the same period in 2017. This high satisfaction level among drivers means that car manufacturers have the highest customer satisfaction of all of the 32 industries that Roy Morgan measures.
Director of ŠKODA Australia, Michael Irmer, was pleased to have the brand's own customer feedback independently verified.
"Anecdotally, we already know our customers love the ŠKODA product and our unique suite of 'Simply Clever' features; but it's extremely pleasing to have this confirmed in an independent industry-wide survey," Mr Irmer said.
ŠKODA continues to expand in Australia with more vehicles finding Australian homes, year on year. Selling some 1.2 million cars in 2017 globally, ŠKODA Australia is currently on track to sell more than 6,000 cars in 2018, some 20 per cent up on 2017's already record-breaking result.
