Suzuki Motorcycles has expanded its benchmark QuadSport all-terrain vehicle range with the arrival in Australia of the new QuadSport Z250.

This exciting new QuadSport machine has been developed from Suzuki’s

high-performance QuadSport Z400 as an entry-level sports ATV.

"Suzuki continues to set the standard in the world ATV market, and the new LT-Z250 Quadsport is a logical next step in the range’s development," Perry Morison, General Manager Motorcycles, Suzuki Australia said.

"The new model is the perfect first sports ATV … it has the performance pedigree of its larger brothers but is more manageable for less experienced riders."

Aggressively styled with sharply curved front and rear fenders and an angled headlight, the distinctive QuadSport Z250’s T-shaped seat narrows in front to blend with the fuel tank, giving this new ATV a real ‘motocross’ look.

Its single-cylinder four-stroke 246cc engine delivers easy-to-use, smooth power through a broad rpm range. The combination of a BSR-type carburettor and a large, well-protected airbox gives this sporty ATV strong takeoff response and excellent all-round performance.

A specially tuned exhaust system delivers a sporty note, while rider comfort is assisted by rubber engine mounts that eliminate engine vibrations. A solid steel engine skid plate protects the LT-Z250 engine from rocks and other debris.

A push-button ignition and convenient Start-In-Gear-System make for easy operation.

The Suzuki QuadSport’s five-speed transmission includes a reverse that is engaged from neutral by simply turning the fender-mounted knob, and a low-maintenance shaft-drive system means that the final drive gear is ultra-efficient.

Suzuki’s QuadSport Z250 features independent double-wishbone front end suspension with five preload adjustment positions, while a single coil-over damper allows the aluminium rear wheels 155mm of travel.

Stopping power is provided via large-diameter front disc brakes and a single rear drum brake, which can also be set as a parking brake.

Other important features of Suzuki’s new QuadSport Z250 ATV include a large 10.6 litre fuel tank, dual beam headlights, 21-watt rear brake lights and a 5 litre water-resistant utility box.

The suggested retail price of the all-new LT-Z250K4 is $8990 including GST, and it is available in both Champion Yellow No.2 and White colour schemes.
