- $125,000 Audi SQ5 on offer, tickets just $50 each
- The Audi Foundation has assisted over 500,000 individuals in its first year of operation
Sydney, 23 April, 2018 – The Audi Foundation has announced its second major fundraising initiative with an Audi SQ5 valued at $125,000 on offer as the major prize.
All profits raised from the raffle will go towards supporting the Audi Foundation's ongoing charitable partnerships, while giving one lucky winner the chance to drive away in the stunning Audi SQ5 for the $50 price of a ticket.
"The SQ5 is the ideal vehicle to headline our second major Audi Foundation raffle," said Anna Burgdorf, Audi Foundation board member.
"Its unique combination of performance, luxury and versatility showcases the Audi brand's finest attributes and make it an incredible prize for the lucky winner."
"It's only through the success of fundraising initiatives like this that we can continue to make a positive difference to individuals and communities around the country," said Ms Burgdorf.
Launched in 2017, the Audi Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation established by Audi Australia to assist those in need in communities in which the brand operates. Additionally supported by the Audi national dealer network, the Audi Foundation supports a number of charities through a grants program, providing long term support in order to achieve greater outcomes for recipients.
Partnering with not-for-profit organisations with proven track records, the foundation has achieved tremendous success in just its first year of operation, with more than 500,000 individuals and their respective communities receiving direct assistance as a result of the Foundation and its partnership programs.
"The Audi Foundation has achieved some outstanding results in just its first year of operation," says Anna Burgdorf.
For example, through the Country Education Foundation Australia, 50 scholarships were awarded to rural and regional students facing hardship, while the Foundation's partnership with ReachOut, allowed a new website to be launched for mobile devices, providing 320,000 young Australians with access to mental health support.
The Audi Foundation will continue its work through these and its numerous other partnerships including, The Smith Family, RUOK, Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, Camp Quality and Humpty Dumpty, with fundraising activities like the raffle of the Audi SQ5, serving to provide additional funds and allow the good work to continue and indeed grow.
