Sydney, 13 April, 2018 – Audi Australia and Sam Evans have released a video content collaboration on YouTube, which depicts the pinnacle of the Audi ice driving experience in Seefeld, Austria.
Recently announced as the 'Influencer of the Year' at Mumbrella's CommsCon Awards, Sam travelled to Europe in January, together with a group of Audi customers, to join the Audi ice driving experience, led by Audi Chief Driving Instructor, Steve Pizzati.
"Sam is a unique young content creator making waves across the globe. We have been fortunate enough to work together often during the past year, so it was logical for us to extend our association with Sam as a friend of Audi," said Anna Burgdorf, Marketing and Communications Director at Audi Australia.
"Sam brings a fresh new perspective to the content he produces, which complements the progressive technology, or Vorsprung, that Audi brings to the road. It was a natural fit for us when we began looking for new social talent to complement our existing ambassador program. "
"We're delighted this content piece shows off the incredible adventure we offer our Audi Ice Driving Experience guests in the very best way," said Ms Burgdorf.
"I've admired the Audi brand and its vehicles for many years, so I'm really excited to announce this collaboration. The Audi brand is well-known for pushing the boundaries when it comes to innovation, which is exactly what I strive for in my own work, so there is an obvious synergy. I'm excited about working with Audi in the future," said Evans.
Before hitting the ice, the group headed to Germany to take in a tour at Audi headquarters in Ingolstadt, including the sophisticated production line and the Museum Mobile that captures some incredible exhibits that mark over 100 years of Audi heritage.
From there, the group travelled to Seefeld for a spectacular four-day program of extreme 'winter sports', behind the wheel of the dynamic Audi S5 Sportback.
The Audi ice driving experience program will be running again in January 2019. To find out more about this, or any of the other programs offered as part of the Audi driving experience, visit audidrivingexperience.com.au.
